Student Life Committee
This is a standing committee of the college
that reviews and recommends action to the administration on matters
affecting students and student life. The committee's primary duties
consist of:
- developing the non-athletic activity budget and setting the student activity fee
- approving new student organizations seeking recognition and revoking the charters of existing
organizations for violations
of school policies
- making recommendations on policies concerning
rules and regulations governing student life
The committee consists of students, faculty and administrative
representatives including the follow:
- two Student Senate representativeseach from Milwaukee
Day, Milwaukee Evening, North, South
and West Campuses, all voting
members
- a representative from The Times, a voting member
- one member of the MATC faculty, appointed for
a three-year term, a voting member
- five Student Life coordinators, two voting members
- the director of Student Life, a non-voting member
