The Native American Student Movement (NASM) is an organization open to all American Indian students enrolled at MATC.
NASM was founded by American Indian students to promote higher education among Indian students, to provide student support
in order to retain Indian students on campus and to establish communication and understanding between the college and American
Indian students. Through cultural activities and social functions, NASM is committed to promoting cultural awareness throughout
the college. The NASM office provides American Indian students with a place to meet other Indian students, a quiet area to study,
or just a place to relax between classes.
